Vx670 Printer Cover
The Vx670 printer door ensures that the paper roll is properly implemented after every transaction. The printer valve consists of a number of parts including a print roller, the printer and the teeth with which you can tear off the receipt. If you use the payment terminal often it will wear out. It is therefore advisable to replace the printer cover if the quality of the receipts deteriorates.
It is also possible that a printer covers gets damaged. In many cases you can still print as normal but the printercover often will not stay fit. This has often happens after a fall or incident. A mobile payment terminal is often handed over from hand to hand and is therefore vulnerable to damage. It may be wise to order an extra spare cover so that you can continue to accept payments if unexpected damage occurs. In this case you do not have to worry about missed sales because of a broken payment terminal.
Replacing the print cover
- Remove the defective printer cover
- Carefully press the “feet” into the notch of the printer cover
- Print a test transaction
